About Us
And Our Founders

John and Elaine Busch, Founders of Soul Warriors
We are all broken image bearers living in a fallen world where the enemy of our souls has come only to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). The simple reality is none of us escapes being wounded in some way by people, events or the circumstances of our world. And in light of it, our enemy is right there ready to get us to take in his lies and strategize ways to not let ourselves be hurt again. In the process, we begin to live independently of our heavenly Father rather than in the dependency upon Him that we were created for. And our enemy is more than ready to build all of this into a stronghold over us, causing us to live from something less than the unique image of Himself that He designed for each of us to be, reflect and even enjoy. All of this comes at the cost of inner peace, joy and the ability to love well. Yet Jesus has overcome all of this. The second half of the John 10:10 passage mentioned above tells us He came that we might have life and have it abundantly.
Soul Warriors was founded in 2026 by John and Elaine Busch out of a strong desire to see both church leaders and their congregations experience deep inner healing for the wounds of the soul and the bad fruit that has come from them. This all began within the context of a rich relational church community that ultimately led them into 35 plus years ministering as pastors, soul care providers and spiritual directors. It is their conviction that as the church learns to function from a place of inner peace, joy and love, it not only promotes healthy community, but also attracts others outside it who’s hearts need, long for and were made for the same.
